Welcome to The Biblical Philosopher, a blog based on bringing God’s people closer to him through thoughtful and prayerful ideas about every day life and how biblical principles apply to it.
Philosophy is a combination of two Greek words, philein and sophia, translating to lover of wisdom. Merriam Webster dictionary describes it as the study of the basic ideas about knowledge, right and wrong, reasoning, and the value of things.
God presents us with many gifts and we can choose to use them or not. I love God, deep thinking and the written word so it only made sense to develop this blog as a way to use what I have to develop God’s Kingdom. I hope it challenges you to take an active role in your spiritual development. Too often we let others decide what we do or don’t believe because to do the research and thought may just take too much work. I pray that the Holy Spirit would guide you in the truth found in the Word.

Wise words.
